Where Have I Heard This Song?

In my listening to HALCALI, I ran across a song that I swore I’ve heard before. Any ideas where?

PS – Loving this song right now.

It does sound familiar… I can’t help you. I am not very good at naming songs or artists.

Love this song….I have it on my zune for good measure.

It reminds me of Parapa the Rappa

I think it’s just too many years of playing SNES games like Super Mario. It sounds familiar to me too, but I don’t think it’s from any one thing in particular.

I like Halcali. The first I heard of them was TipTapsTip, which is incredibly catchy. The music video is probably one of the weirder J-Pop music videos I’ve seen, however. Just all the little things added up together create a solid WTF.

Look up the lyrics, you can learn Japanese words quick because TipTapsTip uses so much English in combination with Japanese. I like that about them. :3

Although I’m not the biggest fan of Japanese music, I actually really like this song, sorry though I have no idea where.

Holy crap, I love Halcali. I believe the background music derives from something but I can’t remember what it was. I’ve gotten so used to this song. XD

And it took how many years to notice the Utada reference in there? 😐

I not sure if it’s why you think you heard it but the music reminds me of Lou bega’s Mambo Number Five.
